Septris guides players through interactive case scenarios

Designed to improve diagnosis and treatment of sepsis, Septris is built on a Stanford-developed simulation platform called SICKO (Surgical Improvement of Clinical Knowledge Ops). In Septris, players evaluate physical symptoms and diagnostic testing, consult with specialists, and prescribe interventions for individual patients. As players work through different levels, Dr. Sepsis evaluates their performance and assigns points accordingly.

Septris is one of 32 tools for emergency department clinicians offered with a new report from the Massachusetts Sepsis Consortium, "Advancing Sepsis Care in Emergency Medicine."
