Make a difference as a volunteer for the Virtual Peer Support Network

Are you someone your colleagues turn to when they need help? You know firsthand how difficult patient events, workplace violence, and other challenges impact those on the front lines of health care. Peer support can alleviate some of that stress.

Join a growing network of peer supporters who provide encouragement, support, and resources to colleagues across the state. The Virtual Peer Support Network is a free, confidential resource for clinicians and staff who want to talk to someone who understands the challenges of working in health care. Trained volunteers offer personalized assistance via phone, video or text.

Eligibility and responsibilities

Peer support volunteers must be able to:

  • A free 4.25 hour training
  • At least 2 hours per month of peer support
  • Two supporter virtual gatherings per year
