If something unexpected happens during your care, first, talk to your doctor or nurse about the issue. If you cannot get the information you need or if you feel your needs aren’t being met, contact the patient relations department at the facility.

If you were a patient at a facility that has not yet implemented CARe, you can still advocate for yourself and your loved ones if an issue arises.
